A new species of the genus Siambathynella Camacho, Watiroyram & Brancelj, 2011 (Crustacea, Bathynellacea, Parabathynellidae) from a Thai cave

چکیده
Siambathynella janineana sp. nov. (family Parabathynellidae) discovered in Thailand is herein described. The new species displays an exclusive character: a distinctive organ on the antennule of males. It also unique combination morphological characters, including seven-segmented and antenna, sexual dimorphism antennule, one-segmented exopod thoracopod I two-segmented one thoracopods II to VII, male VIII without basipodial setae with trapezoidal outer lobe, female two denticles at base setae, pleopods absent, sympod uropod inhomonomous row spines endopod spinous distal process very large spine covered setules. This fifth record Bathynellacea found caves Thailand.

An independently derived, blind, cave-dwelling amphipod, Minamitalitrus zoltani gen. nov., sp. nov. is described from the Hoshino-do cave on the island on Minami-Daitō jima, Okinawa, Japan.
